Life of an Online Business – My Pillow place

We’ve been on a quest to find some unique products that other websites don’t carry.  My wife had found this small company that makes a lot of products for kids.  Within their product line was a group of cute childrens floor pillows.  We’ve decided to try out the Children’s Square Floor Pillows and the Kiddie Round Floor Pillows.  What’s unique about these items is the embroidered design on the pillow.  They come in a few colors and have 8 different designs including some animals, trucks and planes.

April has been abysmal as far as sales go.  We did not get a sale for the first 4 days of the month and the last time that happened was a year ago.  I know its tax season and the economy is horrible.  But I figured we’d get a few sales per day because our traffic has been consistent.  I’m hoping this weekend gives us some sales.  But I’m using this down time to optimize and add new products.
